Ask at reception, the puzzle game is intended for children. Not always easy to show them around a tourist site? Don’t worry, we’ve thought of everything! It is certain that the multitude of curious, unusual and unique objects inside the Manor and the Master Tower will attract their attention!
- The good idea: Children enjoy visiting the site by going up to the attic, where the exhibition on fantastic animals is located!

The puzzle game awaits little knights (girls and boys!) who wish to visit while having fun, throughout the opening period of Donjon, Manoir et Jardin de la Salle.
Did you know that the site has several advantages to appeal to children:
- A large and beautiful garden, to stroll between the massifs and enjoy “pruning” with the sumptuous centuries-old cedar found in the park.
- A square main tower with a turret which hides a spiral staircase. At the very top, machicolations and a walkway, which can be accessed to have a superb view of the village. It was from there that the inhabitants of the place threw projectiles to defend themselves from attackers.
- In the Manor, we pass through different period furnished rooms: kitchen, herbalist’s room, large living room… functional objects and other very curious, even unusual ones are presented. It’s like a large cabinet of curiosities… Admire the meteorite or the metallic heart, the clocks with complex mechanisms and the chests of drawers with secret drawers (handle with care).
